How can I produce a flat reference curve in DASYLab?

The chart recorder and Y/t modules support a reference curve, which can be configured by double clicking the module on the worksheet, and clicking the "Ref. Curve" button. You will see the following options.

Show reference curve — Specifies that DASYLab displays a reference curve for the selected data channel. Click File to load a reference curve file for a data channel.

Restart at reference curve end — Specifies that the module uses the reference curve repeatedly. If you do not select this setting, the module uses at the end of the reference curve the last value of the reference curve as the reference value for all following measurement values.

File — Displays the reference curve file for the current data channel. If the module displays the REFCURS.DSK file, you have not loaded a valid reference curve file. Click File to load a reference curve file.

For a horizontal line, create a text file of the form below, where the number 5 is replaced by the level you wish the reference line to appear. Save this as a .DSK file.
