A new catalogue of data acquisition and control products from leading US
manufacturer ComputerBoards is now available from UK master distributor
Adept Scientific, free of charge on request. ComputerBoards is one of the
world's leading manufacturers of plug-in data acquisition and control
boards. It offers a comprehensive range of good quality products at highly
competitive prices. These are therefore ideal for OEMs and end users needing
cost effective data acquisition hardware that is easy to install and use.
Up to now, each of ComputerBoards' main product ranges have had their own
separate catalogues. Volume 15 is the first complete compendium of the
company's products. The 64 page booklet, just under A4 in size, is fully
illustrated with colour photographs of all boards and associated software and
peripherals, together with detailed technical information. In addition to
the company's existing boards, peripherals and software, the catalogue
introduces 28 new products.
Of particular interest will be the CIO-DAS 6402/12 and 6402/16, the first
ComputerBoards cards ever to offer a massive 64 channels of analogue input.
These build on the capabilities of the DAS-16 family of data acquisiton and
control boards, which have the best known and most trusted name in personal
computer-based measurement and control. Also new is a comprehensive range of
plug-in cards for PCI bus computers, including analogue and digital I/O cards
that combine high speed (up to 16 channel 16-bit A/D operating at 200 KHz) with
features such as burst mode and programmable gain.
Other sections of the catalogue cover analogue signal conditioning, analogue
output boards, boards offering counters, timers, encoder support and digital
I/O, screw terminal boards, and a wide range of other data acquisition and
control interface cards. Separate sections are devoted to connectors, cables
and other accessories for use with ComputerBoards hardware, and to software
products offered by the company. These include Hewlett-Packard's visual
engineering environment HP VEE; DASYLab, the popular data collection,
display and analysis software package: ComputerBoards' own highly popular
Universal Library, which provides a complete set of I/O libraries and drivers
for all boards, for all common Windows and DOS languages; and an extension to
Universal Library that adds support for LabVIEW.
