Any OEM developing high speed data acquisition applications for the PCI bus
will welcome ComputerBoards' PCI-DAS 1602/16 and 1602/12, shipping now from
Adept Scientific.
The PCI-DAS 1602/16 and 1602/12 are ideal for any fairly demanding application
running on the latest PC hardware, much of which has far larger PCI capacity than
previous PC systems. The PCI-DAS 1602/16 offers 16-bit A/D operation at a
sample rate of 200 KHz, while the PCI-DAS 1602/12 operates at 12-bit A/D and has a
300 KHz sample rate.
Both boards have 512 sample FIFO buffers on the input and output, enabling high
speed analogue output as well as simultaneous high speed input. Total
compatibility with PC hardware is ensured by "Plug and Play"
installation and calibration, as is auto-calibration of the analogue
circuits, introduced for the first time into any ComputerBoards' products.
Dual high speed DACs are also provided. |

The PCI-DAS 1602/16 and 1602/12 are supported by ComputerBoards' Universal
Library, which allows users who are developing their own code to access their
full functionality from C, Visual Basic or Delphi code, or from industry
standard software such as HP Vee or LabVIEW (via ComputerBoards' LabVIEW
library).
At a cost of just £995 for the PCI-DAS 1602/16 and £665 for the
PCI-DAS 1602/12, these boards are highly affordable. They are available
immediately from and supported by master UK distributor Adept Scientific plc,
one of the world's leading suppliers of software and hardware products for
technical, industrial, scientific and mathematical applications on desktop
computers.
Adept Scientific is at 6 Business Centre West, Avenue One, Letchworth, Herts.
