Acquisition

With its full plug-and-play operation and sophisticated analogue design, ComputerBoards' new PCI-DAS 1200, available in the UK from Adept Scientific, provides exceptional performance and is keenly priced.

ComputerBoards is well-known for its range of high performance data acquisition boards for the PC. The PCI-DAS 1200 incorporates 16 single-ended/8 differential analogue inputs and two analogue outputs, each offering 12 bit resolution and 24 bits of digital I/O. The advanced surface mount design provides excellent analogue performance with gain error within 0.02% across all input ranges.

The 330 KHz sampling A/D is coupled to fully self-calibrating analogue electronics incorporating a precision voltage reference. As a result, the board can automatically trim any input offset and calibrate itself in the field, guaranteeing consistent measurement.

The PCI-DAS 1200 is supported by ComputerBoards' Universal Library for programmers. Drivers for Hewlett-Packard's HP VEE and for LabVIEW are also available.
