Lancaster University have developed four models in Micro Saint Sharp that track and simulate patient movements through Accident and Emergency, the Outpatient clinic, Waiting list and Inpatient facilities. Changes made to any or all departments in the quest for reduced costs and waiting times can be investigated without disruption on the floor.
