Contains a set of files that enable you to use the Society for Biblical Literature style with EndNote 8 or 9.
Please note these are not compatible with earlier versions of EndNote. The files include customised EndNote Reference Types settings. This can affect your ability to share libraries with other EndNote users and can also affect your references in future versions of EndNote, requiring you to recreate the customisations of this style.
The Zip file contains:
1. An EndNote style called Soc Biblical Lit-Notes.ens. With EndNote closed, copy this file into your EndNote Styles folder.
2. An EndNote reference types file called RefTypeTable.xml.
This file installs a customised reference types table including extra reference types and fields necessary for this style. Please note installing this file removes any customisations you have made to your current reference types. To retain a copy of your original RefTypeTable.xml file, rename the existing file or copy it to another location on your hard-drive (e.g. My Documents).
With EndNote closed, place this file in your profile folder - C:\Documents and Settings\your profile name\Application Data\EndNote.
Please note that EndNote cannot meet all the requirements of the SBL style. It is a very complex style, and EndNote has limitations. Please do not consider this style a substitute for a copy of The SBL Handbook of Style. Continue to check your references before submission.
